They were waiting on a new lintel for above the back door to finish off the last few bricks. I guess i can expect an invoice soon. Fixing is scheduled for today! Does anyone know if that means all my sinks will be fitted? Does anyone know if that means all my sinks will be fitted? We got our fixing invoice before shelves, bench tops and sinks... Bench tops went in on Friday, not sure about basins, etc as I believe they paint first Yet the contract definition of fixing is all basins, sinks, troughs, cabinets, baths etc. We had a special condition elsewhere in the contract that then excluded things like basins from the fixing stage. Could this be the case with yours? Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Fixing 704Jul 30, 2018 11:24 am bank We had a special condition elsewhere in the contract that then excluded things like basins from the fixing stage. Could this be the case with yours? Doesn't look like it. There are multiple methods of progress payments and the one they are using shows all those items are part of fixing. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Fixing 705Jul 30, 2018 3:51 pm We don't have that exclusion, but have paid our dues in good faith! I can't believe they don't give us this information.... They seem to be a bit funny about it; we only knew about it due to this forum. Our BSC also said to ignore it due to inaccuracy but I've found it to be pretty good as someone is definitely updating it. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Fixing 712Jul 31, 2018 11:08 am It is definitely worth watching - we were told on Saturday at our contract signing that they would check if we need Planning Permits. Still waiting for them to let me know (although I confirmed it myself with council yesterday). However the portal says Planning Permits were applied for yesterday. Even though I know we have to do this ourselves with M's suggested town planners, it is good to see that they have enquired about it for us. thanks again! By the way, I remember you mentioned about the reverse building during your pre plaster stage which might cause a problem for the inspection, do you mind to share what has happened? We might be facing that as well. Thanks in advance! Certainly a big hit but means we're close to the finish line, only 5% left to pay. Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought.
