Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 281Mar 28, 2018 5:57 am Manager called yesterday. Nothing likely to make engineering move faster but they will ask. Plans are actually done, just waiting on that last bit of info. They've been told (by husband) to make us a priority and keep us in the loop from now on. Expecting plans next Wednesday. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 283Mar 28, 2018 8:11 am Tribe7 Gosh that’s frustrating it’s all taking so long, I’m crossing fingers for you that your plans are ready next Wednesday and they lodge for approvals immediately Theyve said they will definitely apply for the building permit the same day and that should only take a week. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 284Mar 28, 2018 12:58 pm And we received our final electrical today. Only two weeks late. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 285Mar 29, 2018 12:57 pm Been scouring the plans and found a couple of errors; for some reason a few things have been moved since we signed the plans at contract. Just some minor moving of power points back to where I had them, and shifting the pendant light points in the kitchen towards the centre of the bench rather than over the sink (I'd rather not hit my head washing dishes). Permit scheduled for approval April 11, so lets hope it sticks. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 286Apr 04, 2018 9:28 am Final plans are (finally) due today...here's hoping they keep their word. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 288Apr 04, 2018 10:08 am Tribe7 Crossing fingers for you blackcat surely they will come through for you today Given it was escalated up to a manager, I sure hope so. What stage you up too? You must have been to studio then? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 294Apr 04, 2018 3:49 pm Doulton777 blackcat20 Doulton777 Hers it as 36sq she changed some of it like the kitchen she made it bigger by taking down a wall. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Nice. We did studio back in July. Takes 10 years now days to start building a house. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 296Apr 04, 2018 5:20 pm And of course they failed to get us plans today...not even an email advising of the delay. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 297Apr 04, 2018 7:51 pm Yikes I wouldn’t like to be the person on the end of the phone in the morning when you call up. It’s very rude to not even have the courtesy to let you know there will be a further delay. I’m feeling your pain at the moment, we are waiting on the pool certifier to approve our pool, we can’t obtain our certificate to commence until the pool is approved and the bank won’t start processing the certificate until the approval is received 🤬. I had a bit of a wobbly to hubby today about how slow they are 🤭 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 298Apr 04, 2018 8:52 pm Finding it so frustrating, I don’t understand why they don’t sort out engineering way earlier. Like why wait for developer approval, it makes no difference, the soil doesn’t change. Husband has already spoke to customer service this evening who passed him on to customer support. He’s been looking up the bosses on LinkedIn and isn’t afraid to go to the top if it gets movement. Hopefully your pool approval gets sorted ASAP. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Pre-construction 299Apr 05, 2018 9:55 am Hi blackcat i've been stalking your thread for a while, not many recent threads in here starting from pre construction phase (which we're in - while waiting for our land to title) so have enjoyed following your progress. Your developer looks to have been good with keeping you updated pre-settlement, I'm hoping ours will be similar. Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar. Retaining wall regulations… 5 8013 Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35647 Ideally you would engage a landscaper to give you some insight what they may need in the space to make your vision come to life… 1 13895 |
