Where'd she buy all the bits and bobs from to make them? Im guessing a special S fold type tape, and then super fancy fabric from somewhere online? Thanks Cat, your comments must of made her happy. I got to have pizza and movies tonight hahahaha. We researched (she researched) different methods of S Fold rods and tape... Spot light won’t sell the components individually, and ikea didn’t have the right stuff, so in the end we bought S fold tracks from iseekblinds, an online Aussie manufacturer in Vic and their website has heaps of DIY videos. The kits came with everything you need, the s fold tracks, brackets, header tape that had buttons pre done and wand to open/close - just sew your own curtain. Fabric was from her old work, Charles Parsons, a textiles wholesaler. I think it’s the way the track is designed that makes the S shape hold. Couldn’t find a suitable date to meet Concreter last week, will try again. With all the rain last weekend turning place all muddy. I had to make a temporary walkway from paving off cuts someone was throwing away. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ TV wall mount done, looks heaps better. Got the Sanus VTL6 for 30% off at bing Lee. And... the sink strainers that the builders gave us are so shi7, so much stuff gets through. Finally found awesome ones for $2 each at a Asian grocery story. Bunnings didn’t even have these. They fit perfectly . The one in the right is the standard one Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 728Jun 18, 2018 12:24 am You did well with stepping stone. We have same problem too. We are going to do stepping stones with blue metal gravel infill walkway on one side of the house. No liquidated damages response. We were also promised to have the following addressed ASAP -solar HWS sensor for pump controller not connected. Worried water is not cycling between tank and solar heating panels. Plumber hasn’t come -HWS relief valve connection not completed. Plumber hasn’t come -No keys for thermaline sliding door. Dowell came and installed new key barrel but only after I contacted them. -Shower rail was missing the soap holder part. Nothing has come Also discovered our rain water tank pump doesn’t work. Warning light is on constantly so we’re only using town water. Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 730Jun 19, 2018 3:37 pm You have some big items to get fixed. I'm worry to find out what type of defects I face once move in. Build Thread : viewtopic.php?=31&t=81624 Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 732Jun 21, 2018 9:56 pm I hope you get some resolution on your outstanding issues soon, particularly the HWS relief valve. Isn't that a safety issue? Also, we thought there might have been an issue with our rain water tank, but it was just that it hadn't rained for ages. Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 733Jun 23, 2018 12:30 pm Plumber came back and fixed the hws relief value! But the sensor part wasn’t done and I wasn’t contacted like he said he would do when they get onsite. I actually have no hot water in the tank - all hot water is coming from the instantaneous. I am guessing the pump is not circulating the water from the roof collector panels because that sensor isn’t reading the tank temp :/ will have to call the plumber again. Kingspan was requested to come check the rain water pump. I have their email now too Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 734Jun 28, 2018 8:56 pm Still haven’t gotten around to hang the sheers yet but here is the TV. My brother wanted to come watch soccer so I made him help me wall mount it haha. The unit is from icon by design Moved the modem here, much better wifi reception. Luckily we had 2 cat6 ports in the living room. 1 port is taking input from NTD and the other is taking the traffic back to the Hills switch at the hub. Now I have 3 spare ports in this room instead of the original 2! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 735Jun 29, 2018 8:50 am Forgot to post this earlier. Laundry bench siliconed and finished with a few coats of timber oil. Nicer if fully built in but it’s doing the job. And we didn’t think about moving taps to under tub oh well the dog can now have a warm bath once the outside footpaths are done Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Builders didn’t finish the timber trim for garage door jamb. Materials were there already. Sick of seeing bricks through the ugly gap so just did it ourselves. Should we paint it the wall colour, door colour or leave it? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Again builders didn’t have painters return to finish off. Luckily there was plenty of leftover paint. I will take a pic of our kitchen lights. Still working out how the electrician can put up the void light without a huge expense of hiring ladder/scaffolding but want him to be safe too! Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 739Jun 30, 2018 2:49 pm The_Joneses The kitchen light looks awesome! Lol I remember you have the same one! Man, loving it. Finally something to bring a abit of warmth( its 3000k warm light) Will see what it’s like at night before I adjust the height and cut off the excess suspension wires. Re: Sekisui | Burbank - Cedarwood1828 740Jun 30, 2018 9:57 pm You have been very busy that garage door is looking much better after painting the trim.
