Though have now lost one as it won't pass council wish they had told us this at contract plan stage as we now have no tap near garage. Phone point should be able to be positioned at your electrical appointment We thought it would be done at electrical too but we asked and they said no Coral does that hopefully will hear back on Monday! You will be contacted to confirm your phone and data points just before your build starts. We moved ours and added extra data points for $165 each. We would have to request the size and weight of any tradies we hire that need to go up in the roof lol.So, they are also putting another manhole in our wardrobe for access to the rest of the house for normal sized people. I agree, talk to your sparky. I wanted to talk to our sparky beforehand and everything has happened so fast and he was doing the rough in before I was expecting it. I missed my oppourtunity, as I didn't have time to arrange time off work to meet with him. We chose the locations of our outdoor taps during the planning stage and actually put 2 extras in too because of the size of our house. The taps were in stupid locations on our last build so this time we were onto it. Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 85Jul 18, 2017 11:40 am So apparently Coral doesn't do recessed stacker door? Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 86Jul 18, 2017 11:48 am That's crazy they won't recess for you... it amazes me how different builders will or won't do things! We wanted frameless mirrors - but Hallmark doesn't do it! Clarendon refused to change alfresco pillars to timber, but Hallmark had no problem! You would think if one can do it, then the other can too - crazy!!! 🤡 - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 87Jul 25, 2017 10:34 pm Sorry to hear that Coral don't do stackers... my guess as to the reason - though sometimes I am cynical about builders - is that.. they have never tried.. or it costs too much for them to get it done well to be worth the hassle. Coz you would have to drill a level into the slab to fit the recessed tracks in.. which could get damaged etc? It could affect their build schedule too if the project would require timing too far out of their usual timelines as well.. but really only Coral knows why... I guess they've already got you. It's not like you would walk away because of stackers.... 😠 Otherwise with some of your questions if they haven't been answered... pretty much can be placed at any time before a critical install step is required. I.e. the outdoor pipes will need to be planned into the slab. The manhole can definitely get moved to a preferred location. Hope to hear of your progress soon! I hate finding out about things I didn't know about and want but then can't get them I sorted out all my queries with Coral and so far I have got everything I want! Even added floor to ceiling tiles yay We have done all our appointments and submitted all variations (we kept changing our mind about things whoops), so now we're really just waiting for land to register to get it all started! Hopefully end of this month, wooo Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 89Aug 04, 2017 9:46 pm Bridgetwitch That's crazy they won't recess for you... it amazes me how different builders will or won't do things! Can't wait for our builds to start! Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 93Aug 05, 2017 9:56 pm Caydenn Hey Steph What did you get charged to upgrade floor to ceiling tiling? $970 all up for both bathrooms, but we already had elegance inclusions of 2100mm high tiles (I think that's right - if not around there) Are you guys thinking about doing it? ☺ Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 94Aug 05, 2017 9:57 pm Thats what we have, at that price definitely! Ill speak to my sales consultant tomorrow Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 95Aug 05, 2017 9:59 pm Caydenn Thats what we have, at that price definitely! Ill speak to my sales consultant tomorrow Yeah we were surprised with the price! Our sales consultant told us around $1300 and we got the $970 price from National Tiles after our appointment so went ahead with it ☺ Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 96Aug 05, 2017 10:00 pm Is it something coral puts in the contract or do I just ask them at our tiles appointment? We have our tiles appointment next Monday Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 97Aug 05, 2017 10:03 pm Caydenn Is it something coral puts in the contract or do I just ask them at our tiles appointment? We have our tiles appointment next Monday I'm not sure, we did it through tiles appointment but if your sales consultant will add it to your contract without a variation try, they won't know exact pricing though just an estimate ☺ did you guys end up adding any allowance into your contract? Best thing we did or we would be paying 14k+ in variations \ upgrades out of our own pocket Re: Manhattan 23 - Coral Homes (Riverstone Crossing) 98Aug 05, 2017 10:07 pm We have added a few thousand for electrical and a few hundred for colours. But we have confirmed that all the upgrades we want to do at mychoice have no variation costs they are simply upgrades We will just be paying for them out of pocket. In NSW a lot of developers of subdivisions put covenants on the land which normally… 0 6578 1 15758 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption.
