Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 71Apr 20, 2018 4:18 pm Yeah it looked like it was all happening when we drove through a couple of weeks ago. Our builder told us that our slab was poured today, so it feels like we are really starting to make some progress now Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 72May 07, 2018 4:52 pm Hi to all neighbors, Just recently came across this forum, glad this exists . We are building our house with Thrives too and already have had many disappointments, there was a significant delay in the framework and recently some hurdles around bricks availability, at last it seems like things are finally moving ahead but not sure how far its gonna go before we hit another wall again. Anyways just wanted to share and ask if anyone else is in the same situation. Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 73May 07, 2018 4:56 pm I am with rawson went past my house on the weekend its doing well frame and brickwork is up but sept this year will b 3 years since we bought it. alot of thrive homes are up! they look very nice Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 74May 08, 2018 9:10 am Our land got registered around Oct/Nov last year. I understand land registration and government approval may incur delays but when it comes to these things i guess itshows how inefficient and unprofessional the company is. Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 75May 08, 2018 9:19 am Hi Neighbor! We had some issues with Thrive as well during our D/A approval process, we weren't very impressed with how things were handle, but they are a new company... We have no had any problems since we handed over to our site manager, we are looking our frame is going to start going up shortly, so hopefully we don't have any of the same issues that you had with the bricks. Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 76May 08, 2018 1:01 pm I think the Bricks and Frame issues is all sorted now, so finally i hope it will be a smooth ride from here on wards. Thanks for all the comments Neighbors!! Hopefully we'll all get to move in before Christmas this year. Good luck and Happy Building :-D Re: Lucere estate at Leppington 77May 08, 2018 6:11 pm splendid_12 Our land got registered around Oct/Nov last year. Hi Splendid, welcome to the forum. For me also Rawson did not meet my expectations on professionalism and standing on its sales pitch. But when I looked other developers my friends are with, I realize that Rawson is not the worst one. For the price they offer, I would not hesitate to build with them again. since I have built with Rawson, I would like to hear from people who have built with thrive homes about their build quality. I thought I was only one who has issues during construction. I am disappointed with the way construction is progressing, even DA approval took lot of time, because they haven't supplied all required documents. After my slab went down on Mar 7th, my frames work just started. When I called up, they said frames company delayed frames. I need to call up these guys every time and ask them about progress. Hopefully it would be smooth from now on, but you never know @spendid did you reach anyone from Thirve office? I have my house with Thrive and the construction is going very slow. The construction contract is about to end in Mid July, but i don't think its going to be complete anyways. Anyhow, about the build quality, i have got my construction been privately inspected, and the report came out with few minor issues, so it looks alright. Will see more when the final inspection is done. The thing which i have noticed, Thrive used steel frames compared of timber of Rawson.
