Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Fairhaven Home - Iluka 349 with Quay Facade 23Aug 15, 2017 6:51 pm Hi Jam, who is your site supervisor, ours is Dean. Do you have the new screw pile slab solution they released last year. I would be very interested in what your build time frame is, we were told 320 days from site start which was July 11. Watching you build closely as we are currently stuck pre-slab stage due to no concreter. How did you find their pricing when it came to upgrades when you chose your colours etc? I'm worried I'm going to blow the budget, especially with flooring and kitchen cupboards 😬 Re: Fairhaven Home - Iluka 349 with Quay Facade 29Oct 04, 2017 10:45 pm We were charged $14,273 to delete the master from downstairs and add it to the first floor, changing the downstairs to living and theatre instead. I didn't realise the above layout was an option...it's a great one as we feel bedroom 2 is quite small in the original layout Re: Fairhaven Home - Iluka 349 with Quay Facade 31Oct 05, 2017 12:05 am Poniri We were charged $14,273 to delete the master from downstairs and add it to the first floor, changing the downstairs to living and theatre instead. I didn't realise the above layout was an option...it's a great one as we feel bedroom 2 is quite small in the original layout We were also thinking about moving bed 1 upstairs because of the size of bed 2. But then I came across this option, which I love. I am meeting with Fairhaven on Saturday so I will ask them if it is possible. Have you started building yet? I would love to see some photos if you have any 😊 Re: Fairhaven Home - Iluka 349 with Quay Facade 32Oct 05, 2017 11:35 am Just waiting for final estimate and colour appointment, contracts etc, then should be starting soon after that. Will upload some photos once it all starts, but at this stage I think it will carry over to next year, with the xmas break coming up. I must admit Fairhaven were pretty good with the many changes that we requested, we paid a customisation fee of $500 for each change that wasn't already an option with them though. Where about are you building? Re: Fairhaven Home - Iluka 349 with Quay Facade 33Oct 11, 2017 6:50 am We paid a customisation fee, from memory it was about $2500, but that included all the changes. The upstairs bedrooms are a great size, as is the rumpus, bathroom. We are having new home presentation this coming Friday. We are really happy with how the first floor feels and looks. We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 14366 Hi, guys!
