Browse Forums Building A New House Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 321Aug 17, 2017 7:40 am Here's hoping that the paperwork goes to council no later than 31st of August and out ASAP!🤞 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 323Aug 26, 2017 6:57 pm Just found a vista build on instagram.... can't wait to build ours now!!!! Come on land - I need to start building already!!! In the meantime, I got my (free!) tickets to the home show next month - hope to find lots of bargains!!! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 325Aug 28, 2017 8:36 pm Need to vent.... developers suck!!!! They give you all sorts of false promises to get you locked in, then expect you to swallow a pile of b*llshit excuses when they fail to deliver! I'm not a friggin mushroom!!!! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 327Aug 29, 2017 8:22 am Just more delays... and to see them going great guns on the next stage release before ours is finished just rubs salt in the wounds! I tried to arrange for our builder to do soil testing and contour survey, but they won't let us in. At this rate we'll be lucky if the build starts before Christmas! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 328Aug 29, 2017 8:28 am I hear ya. My title has been in the titles office waiting for the title to be issue since 12 July. So close, but just not there. Our developer was really nice they let us do a soil survey. But at the that time all the roads were all done and site was nearly finished. Where about are they up to at your site? I'm hoping we can get going by October. But who knows. Can't start without titled land grrr haha Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 329Aug 29, 2017 8:58 am Wow, that's a long time already to be at titles - seems every step of this building process is designed to test our patience! Roads are in at our place and our block is near the edge of the stage so it's just sitting there waiting - they are still working further up the hill so access shouldn't be an issue. I kinda let the developers SC have it yesterday - couldn't help it! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 330Aug 29, 2017 9:01 am Maybe they waiting for Council and the relevant authorities to sign off on it before it goes to the registration stage. My site is in a 48 subdivision lot. I believe its waiting on the surveyor for the developer to do something. I was told its minor. But who knows, maybe there is a backlog at the titles office too. Lots of building happening in Victoria. Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 331Aug 31, 2017 6:30 pm Just checked in and sorry to hear of your delays!! That just sucks... Look out for "Twilight Charcoal"!!! Also scored bamboo flooring for the price of laminate - winning! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 335Sep 09, 2017 9:17 pm That's a pretty unique opportunity! Do you get royalties for every time it is used? What did you think of the home show in the end? Is it doable with two young kids in tow!? I wasn't overly impressed with the Home Show to be honest - and definitely wouldn't pay to get in! (I got free tickets from being on the mailing list). There were lots of people with prams and kids in tow Rural - so defs doable with the whole fam. Forgot to ask about royalties for the carpet... it is kinda cool knowing I was involved in the creation of something though! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 338Sep 10, 2017 5:26 pm I felt the same. Its really just a giant sale pitch, you can get some good discounts if you are looking for something specific (though who knows how good the deals really are), but otherwise its just a lot of people trying to sell you things. Free tickets its okay, but I also wouldn't pay to go. Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 339Sep 10, 2017 8:07 pm We went last year and felt the same. Go you on your carpet Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 340Sep 10, 2017 8:19 pm I agree I went last year with first time builder and it was just a giant sales pitch. Very cool about the carpet, I recently helped PGH with there new visualizer, it was cool to have a say and give some ideas. I'll keep an eye out for your carpet Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8994 |
