We had plumbing and electrical rough in’s this week. Hopefully the rain stops over the weekend so we can see some bricks next week!?! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 592Feb 23, 2018 3:31 pm Bridgetwitch Thanks everyone! You had such a **** start but now it’s moving along so quickly Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 593Feb 23, 2018 7:06 pm Wow, you’re flying through. We started before you and we have our electrical booked for the 5/3. I’m jealous but super happy for you Building our first custom dream home. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 594Feb 27, 2018 3:28 pm Bricks got delivered today, and our front door got its first coat of stain - hoping to see some walls start to go up before the week is out! Our SS is great and seems to be very organised, so it’s possible! You really notice how common the horizontal panels are now! Fingers crossed for some plaster! Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 596Feb 27, 2018 3:42 pm Love the door too. There’s just something about the vertical glass Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 598Mar 02, 2018 3:40 pm So, we have bricks going up (which is great), but I am so unhappy with the way they have gone up. The front media room is our feature brick in chiffon and it is not neat at all. Differing widths in mortar between bricks and horizontal lines that are not horizontal!!! Should I complain? We also have electrical wiring that spans across walls - heaven forbid I put a nail in the gyprock in the future as I’m likely to go through a wire! Shouldn’t they run down along the frames? Need advice please!
