The basalt ceiling looks awesome I might have to borrow that idea Feel free to paint away Tribe! It’s funny because the colour consultant was concerned when I told her I wanted to paint my eaves Basalt, and warned me that the alfresco and porch ceiling would be this colour too and might be too dark. I’m not one to follow trends (and like something different) so I told her to put it in anyway! I’m so glad now I asked if we could paint the eaves in a colour - it’s one of the things I really love - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 743Apr 07, 2018 10:18 am Just looked over our electrical plans and they have put in a seperate isolation switch in the kitchen, which should be a combined double gpo and iso switch - on the wrong wall no less! And the electrician put our outside power point right in the middle of our alfresco brick wall, when it should have been 300 high! Hope it’s not too hard to change - our sparky is not very bright! Lol - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 744Apr 07, 2018 12:52 pm Bridgetwitch Tribe7 Wow you getting so close to hand over, not a heap more to do and it’s all looking great. I’m going for a mismatched house of fun, I like quirky and a bit different I think your dark ceiling looks very cool. How’s your new little man settling in? You feeling more human again yet? I always feel like a space cadet for the first 4 weeks after having a baby Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 747Apr 07, 2018 10:48 pm Tribe7 Bridgetwitch Tribe7 Wow you getting so close to hand over, not a heap more to do and it’s all looking great. I always feel like a space cadet for the first 4 weeks after having a baby I like the idea of a mismatched house of fun! Little man is settling in well, although I had supply issues so started supplementing with pumped milk and now he only wants the bottle - it’s exhausting! Sorry if that’s TMI! I still have baby brain, but at least I’m not exhausted 24/7, and I can bend! I have had a really stressful week dealing with the real estate about our rental - they actually refused to accept applications from people I let come have a look at the house. They are saying they have to advertise and hold open homes before they can accept applications. Not at all interested in lessoning any costs to us, and just being general a*holes! I am really mad, so will be fighting them to get my bond through the RTA no doubt. I never want to deal with another real estate in my life! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 748Apr 07, 2018 10:49 pm icat2000 My partner wants to put a yellow smog fridge into our kitchen I want the pale green one. Yellow is out there I like the pale green smeg much more than the yellow - yellow is a bit too bright for me! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 749Apr 07, 2018 11:29 pm Bridgetwitch Tribe7 Bridgetwitch [quote="Tribe7"]Wow you getting so close to hand over, not a heap more to do and it’s all looking great. Maybe check this with the RTA. Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 750Apr 10, 2018 8:11 am Just after some opinions my lovelies! Where would you install a split system air-con - back wall or side wall of living room? Our tv will go on the back wall, so I’m not sure I want an ugly air-con above it, but if we put it on the side wall, it will be seen from the entry when you look down the hall! I just don’t know.... help! 🤪 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 752Apr 10, 2018 8:56 am Bridgetwitch Just after some opinions my lovelies! Back wall should also give you better airflow. Take your plans into an aircon shop and have a chat. They'll discuss where the outside bit goes as well. They don't like the pipe runs to be too long or short. Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 754Apr 10, 2018 11:42 am How about the unit on the sml alfresco wall and the head above TV :/ Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 755Apr 10, 2018 1:19 pm I wouldn’t think it would be able to go on the side wall because of where they’ll have to run the pipes etc to connect to the outside unit? It will run more efficiently and do a better job of cooling on the back wall. :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 756Apr 12, 2018 7:36 pm Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 758Apr 12, 2018 7:53 pm It's looking great! I honestly felt like I had been hit by a bus for 4 weeks after Pippa was born. Takes a while to regain those brain cells . Good news he is going well, as long as he is fed and happy and so are you then your winning. What did you decide on with your air con unit location? Wow no more stinky loo woo hoo, hand over must be just around the corner Re: A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast 760Apr 12, 2018 11:21 pm Tribe7 Never too much TMI you just had a baby and your building a house and dealing with a frustrating real estate. Wow no more stinky loo woo hoo, hand over must be just around the corner Thanks Tribe, the first weeks with a newborn are super cute but always takes some adjusting to! Not easy juggling everything that moving into a new house entails with a baby. Hubby said with the porta loo gone, we just have stinky tradies using our new toilets! Looks like we are going to put the aircon in the dining room now, on the wall backing our WIR/ensuite. I really didn’t want to see it from our entry, and the outside unit would be in our alfresco if we went with the back wall, so this is a better option. Hopefully it will still do the job to cool/heat the whole space. Just waiting on the bank to approve the new quote now. Can’t believe we should be in the house in only a few weeks now! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8996 |
