I love the black fans! And the pendant in the powder room is my fave. Oh thanks! We went with an industrial Scandi look, a bit different to the style being discussed in this thread but I love them both. We have that Beacon tri pendant above our dining table and it's so pretty. Just make sure you get low wattage light bulbs as the lights hang quite low above your head when you sit at the table and you don't want to be blinded Thanks! Oh please do post a pic of yours when you get the chance . And will definitely keep that in mind about the globes lol. Your home looks amazing! Beautiful choice of lighting - that mini tri pendant in the ensuite is so cute! And love, love the timber look cabinets. Can I ask what the actual cabinet choice was? It's funny you hear about the stresses and hurdles of building but kind of go into it thinking it won't happen to you. Well I know I did. And sure enough there's always hurdles to get through but the stress of that will all fade once you see the end result. And your house is going to be so freaking amazing!! We got our keys on Thursday! With the craziness of Easter we haven't managed to get much done. Currently sleeping on a mattress in the living room as our bedroom is a Pax war zone We are absolutely stoked with how it's turned out. It's like we are living in a dream. Nothing much to report. Spoke to the builder last week and apparently 90% of the site cut has been done, with about 20m3 of rock to remove which isn't too bad. Though they still have some big boulders to break and dig out in that last 10%! Fingers crossed it doesn't amount to too much In the meantime, I've finally got hubby on the Pinterest bandwagon! He works from home a bit, so I've encouraged him to start thinking about what he wants for the study/home office. He is thinking built in cabinetry down one side with a desk and shelves. Looking at our plans again we've realised the window in our study is bloody huge! It's 2.7m wide! No idea why we did that so thinking might need to reduce it. Also toying with the idea of making it longer and perhaps incorporating a nice window seat...
