We are building our first home in S.A and have decided on our floor plan just waiting for our draftsman to draw them up. We are trying to come with in budget so are looking at putting in the kitchen, pantry, laundry and wardrobes our-self using kits, what is the best process to be organised if we are going to do this? what do we need to know so our draftsman can do builders drawing? how does this all work? what questions should I ask so we can be as organized as possible and to make sure we will be picking the right builder for the job?. would love any advise on this first stage as I am feeling overwhelmed as it has taken us so long to get to this stage.
