Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 22, 2017 5:38 pm Hi, Wondering if anyone else on homeone has purchased in Clyde Springs estate. I've recently purchased a lot in stage 6. Contract signing should be within the next month, with expected land titles to be late this year. Would be great to meet future neighbours, follow everyone's progress and share any potential information we find out along the way. Currently not a lot of information about the estate around the internet etc. Cheers! Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 2Jun 07, 2017 2:07 pm We are building in Meridian - Clyde North. Stage 3. Land title in couple of months. Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 3Aug 13, 2017 8:52 pm Hi Renee94 I also got a lot at stage 6, signed a contract in June. I was recently told it's going to be titled in December-January-cant' wait!! I've got so many questions though) Would be awesome to meet people who are going to live around there and share information, construction progress etc. Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 4Aug 25, 2017 12:20 am Hey guys, My partner and I bought in Clyde Springs stage 1 and we are expected to title mid-late September from initially meant to be April (so not too much of a delay but still enough for me to be way too excited haha) So good to see all the progress over the last few months!! Who is everyone building with? Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 5Aug 29, 2017 7:54 pm Hi I have bought in Stage 5, expected to title in Jan next with settlement 4 weeks later. Yes hardly any info available on Clyde Springs available and they dont do much advertising. I bought when the bigger blocks were put on realestate.com.au but heard they were sold earlier by word of mouth. Is that right? Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 6Sep 06, 2017 12:48 am Hi, our title has been pushed back again until October and last I heard Stages 4 and onwards were going to be Jan/Feb now. We only accidentally heard about the estate through going into a display home and they said "we have a package in clyde springs" and I thought they meant Ramleigh springs down the road hahaha. Apparently they released the initial stages (1/2/3) on like a Wednesday and when we rang to see what was left on Friday they had already sold like 75% just by word of mouth - crazy! We bought October 2016 so it's been such an agonising wait! We're Lot 123 Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 7Sep 06, 2017 8:23 am That is quite a delay! More time to get the finances sorted though if thats a case. I am looking at building with porter davis. Havent got a firm figure for site costs yet. Have you had one? Our fall is around 1.4 so site costs wont be small. We are on lot 518. Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 8Sep 23, 2017 6:21 am I am one of in clyde spring. We got lot 504 with frenken homes house and land package. We have been told from start by Guy from frenken homes that land title will happen in March for us and told whatever Maxbrown says about release and title it will take time up to March. We were happy to wait so for us no issue. Good to here from all Neighbors...keep posting in insides and news and update Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 9Sep 23, 2017 12:53 pm Yes March doesnt seem unrealistic. Max Brown says Feb however understand that Stages 1-3 (which are now complete) were well delayed. Most of these estates are facing delays. Good luck with everything! Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 10Sep 25, 2017 10:16 pm Yeah, everywhere it so delayed. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it. We should have our soil tests done within the week so when I hear a rough cost estimate I'll let you guys know. We're building with fairhaven though, and I know they do a different slab to some other builders and generally have cheaper site costs also. But it's a rough estimate for you guys. Not long till we start building now Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 11Sep 25, 2017 11:52 pm I was over there last weekend and looked good now that stages 1 to 3 are done. Has council approval come through? How much was your fall on the block? Hopefully you wont encounter much fill and site costs stay manageable. Good luck with the build! Clyde Spring development is a small developer and they don't spend money on advertisement. That's why you can't find anything on internet about them. But it's good estate to build your dream home. Regards Rupesh Re: Clyde Springs estate- Clyde North 15Sep 26, 2017 11:30 am Hi Rupesh, Good to hear from you! Which lot are you on? Have you had soil tests done yet and any indication of site costs?
