Currently they just finished the brick work and all the wiring, I've called the GM from the QLD head office but no answer and still waiting call back.
We would appreciate any advice, thank you all.

We've emailed the liquidator last Tuesday to terminate the contract so we can claim insurance with QBCC, however so far no reply from them.
We've also received a letter from the certifier regarding the frame inspection, there are many issues raised last Dec but GJ never got back to the certifier nor rectify the issues:
- frame overhangs slab ion excess of 10mm garage, master bed and family
- support bottom plate in garage recess
- rods required beside openings in family and bath
- fix cyclone straps under top plate garage and dining
- tighten cyclone rods most locations
- frame to the rectified along garage wall due to excess bottom plate being removed.
We've no idea how above issues would affect the structre of our house so we called the certifier and waiting callback.
basically GJ Logan didn't want to play since frame stage but they still asked us to pay the frame and enclosed stages and we did. They got the sub contractors to do the roof and brick works without rectifying the frame issues.

07/03/2018 update
Hi All, my house was finally finished and handed over to us yesterday, nearly one year since I updated the post last March.
15/03/2017 - terminated contract with the liquidator as GJ QLD head office could not help us (saying our remaining fund could not cover the cost to finish the house by another GJ office)
16/03/2017 - logged insurance claim with Queensland Building and Construction Commission
25/05/2017 - QBCC approved new builder GW Homes to take over the project
12/06/2017 - Signed new contract with GW Homes
03/08/2017 - Signed new specification and paid deposit
19/09/2017 - construction work started again
26/10/2017 - reached enclosed stage
12/01/2018 - reached fixing stage
22/01/2018 - PCI completed
01/03/2018 - Final certificate issued by the certifier
06/03/2018 - picked keys!
For us it was really a long battle and I would like to highlight below items:
- There was no details in our bush fire upgrade variation form and the new builder would not install metal fly screens, however QBCC approved this after I sent over the quote provided by the supplier (got from the liquidation). Always make sure your contract, specification and variation have all the details!
- A lot of certificates were missing, I had to contact different business to get the certificates back. Some tradies didn't get paid so I had to pay them for the certificates. Don't relying on the insurance agency or new builder to get these certificate for you, chase them yourself!
- GW homes has different supplier for hardware so we had to choose laminate flooring, HWS, internal door and some other hardware again.
- My bank would not release the money unitl QBCC exhaust the insurance claim fund and this delayed us nearly a month. Check with your bank first for the payment requirements under this circumstance!
If anyone in a similar situation and needs some advice, more than happy to help!
