Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 20, 2017 9:02 am Hi, I am a first home builder in Victoria, as well as the First Home Builders Grant of $10,000 which my bank has applied for. I am entitled to a 50% Reduction in stamp duty paid on the land. Due to Prinicipal place of Residence reduction and First Home Buyer Reduction. My question is, when am I able to apply to apply to receive the refund of 50% of Stamp Duty that I have already paid ? My build is up to the frame stage. Used to work in FHOG department at SRO. Re: Prinicipal place of Residence and First Home Buyer Stamp 3Jul 13, 2017 8:58 am Hi All, My FHOG has been granted and i have got UIN Number.
