Hopefully I can walk through our this arv too. So glad they sorted the windows ASAP I'm sure you will have them started today can you call your SS? We were so desperate last week our SS took a pic of the carpenters onsite and sent it to us!! Our Acacia build - http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=86619 Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home-slab stage 84Apr 06, 2017 9:43 pm trimum Uchiha Hi trimum, any good news from your SS? I went to the oran park displays over the weekend. wow can't believe Oran Park has developed into what it is today! I went to school just on the other side of the Northern Rd - and haven't been back in the area since the days Oran Park was just a race track. I also noticed a street named Holden Drive. What if you were a Nissan or Ford fan.. LOL I reckon the area is looking great. I liked the layout, your own supermarket, the little parks and walk/running tracks by the water Yes I'm really coming round to the area, we moved into our rental a year ago and I hated living here but now I'm feeling really settled, I and hubby work in the CBD but the commute works well for us and the kids are doing well. Many of the streets are named after names of cars or famous drivers!! Not sure if there is a Ford street though We heard from our SS yesterday who confirmed there was no progress but was hoping to have a carpenter lined up 'soon' we told him that wasn't good enough and asked for the delays to be escalated to Burbank, hubby was called today by someone more senior. Basically there is not much they or we can do, the huge amount of rain has knocked everyone's timelines out and our delays are being caused by other builds' delays. I get it so I guess we have to be patient but have asked for them to come up with a 'plan c'. Yesterday we went for our electrical and tile appointments. We queried our air conditioner unit and number of zones as what Burbank had on the electricians contract and what was on our Sekisui contract was slightly different. Burbank confirmed they had got it wrong and will ensure we get as per our original Sekisui contract or better. So that's a win. Our infinity choices had upgraded switches and more aircon zones and a 3 phase air conditioner (whatever that means). Hope there's no more rain now though, apparently next week is meant to be much better. I sure hope so!! It was so exciting walking through it, about half the frames are done on he first floor and the roof trusses have been delivered, all the steel was in place. We could see where some of the frames and beams had been completely rain soaked but they looked ok and were drying out well. Anyhow took some more pics!!
