I'll be having picnic and clean up days. There are too many builder's debris. I don't think they will pick up all rubbish. So apparently 2/3 of the doors, skirting and door frames are done. So glad to get the front door on it’s been one of the things I’ve been desperate to see happen. Not sure what is next but the benchtops and splashback have been measured up so I guess they will be the next thing? Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 463Nov 24, 2017 7:36 pm Yay for doors and especially that FRONT DOOR. That's one big front door. My wardrobe doors are sliding may be I should change to doors opening out. Wardrobe are on smallish size due to sliding doors. Anyhow noticed that all the eves have been done to the alfresco and garage, needs a bit of finishing off but was great to see that has been started, the frames for the pergola are STILL sitting outside in the same place they have sat since January this year they are looking very weathered and twisted now Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 469Nov 25, 2017 5:14 pm Wow... the front door looks even more fantastic from the front. I guess it's suppose to be better from the front lol Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 470Nov 25, 2017 5:19 pm ehhc Wow... the front door looks even more fantastic from the front. I guess it's suppose to be better from the front lol Thanks we changed the door to the largest possible at the very last minute before contracts were signed and I’m so pleased we did. I can’t wait to see the dark wood stain go on, the wooden bannister and the timber screen are all having a similar shade. Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 471Nov 25, 2017 7:11 pm Very nice big door. Now you have two items to cross off from your list. Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 473Dec 03, 2017 12:38 pm Week 47/40 and the benchtops have been delivered and are in situ, I am loving the kitchen ones with the 40mm waterfall ends. The gyprocking of stairwell is done, skirting is nearly complete and some of the walls have been squared off nicely and all the sinks are in place. We hadn’t had an update from the SS this week so weren’t sure if anything had been done so good to see work continuing. Forgot my phone so no pics but will get some next weekend. I won’t hold my breath! Anyhow I could see that this week we had some more timber bits delivered but the big news...the timber screen is up!!! I love it, they are chunky 90mmx90mm pieces and I love it, it will get stained dark (black Japan).
