Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 549Dec 22, 2017 8:17 pm That is shocking! Who is your CSO? Is it AH? We haven't had a good CSO since Sekisui. They won't answer my emails or phone calls. Once I even called the front desk and asked to be transferred to our CSO, but my call mysteriously got cut off before it got to her. Unbelievable... Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 550Dec 22, 2017 8:18 pm On a lighter note, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! 🎄 🎅 🎁 Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 551Dec 22, 2017 11:10 pm I take back some of words I said. We actually had 2 really good CSOs at Burbank. CR and DT but they've both left the company already. I did speak to others since then, just quick questions and they were polite enough but you can really sense the condescending tone. Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 552Dec 23, 2017 5:22 am Thanks everyone really appreciate the support, I’m going to step back and enjoy the Christmas break. We will pay the invoice after new year as all the internal cabinetry is complete and if that is ‘fixing’ then we won’t hold payment. We will ask for a new CSO and when this is all done we will take the opportunity to leave the feedback they deserve. Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 553Jan 01, 2018 2:41 pm Happy New Year everyone let’s hope it’s the year for many of us to move in to our homes at last! Just wanted to ask whether anyone else has this in their garage....the skirting board is staggered obviously to match the height of the internal door but it looks so odd and under the skirting it’s a way In to the frame and insulation for all sorts of rodents and pests. Hope they seal it below the skirting board Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 554Jan 02, 2018 1:13 pm They've done that at ours too. I thought it was normal until I just looked at our existing place, and for the dropped area there is a much wider board installed so the concrete edge is not exposed at all. Damn wish I noticed earlier Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 555Jan 02, 2018 1:42 pm ehhc They've done that at ours too. Damn wish I noticed earlier That’s what I was thinking was going to solve it, I’m going to ask they do it! Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 556Jan 02, 2018 1:52 pm We got a wider skirting board to cover the concrete where the step down is. Ended up being a sheet of matrix cladding due to the size of the step down. It looked ok once painted, kind of looked like a skirting board was missing though. Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 559Jan 02, 2018 3:29 pm I am going to ask for a site visit at the end of January so will ask why they chose to do it this way. To be honest there are more pressing concerns like the front entrance that is causing me a lot of worry right now! Re: Sekisui / Burbank -our Acacia home- Bricks Complete! 560Jan 02, 2018 3:31 pm All our bathroom, toilets, laundry and alfresco and entrance have been tiles and grouted. Have to admit the tiler has done an awesome job something at last I can say ‘that’s a good job’ We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
