Then I see these damn stunning stairs and balustrade and I realise no matter what they do to my staircase, it ain't ever gonna compare Mrs JM, the finish looks so damn cheap, I hate it. They are redoing the staining and painting, but like everything else they do, everything they “fix” always looks even worse or a bad touch up job. My Metricon Glendale in Sydney. So we chose it out of the catalog from their supplier. Cos we knew we wanted this door. Thank goodness they had it. We seen it in a Henley display and we loved it.. but didn’t know if metricon had it. We did asked if we can choose our own door. But they wouldn’t allow it. Or we probably would have went for something different. Initially we wanted double doors. But they couldn’t do two pivot doors. And hubby was set on pivot. So we ended up getting one. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1038Oct 31, 2017 9:28 pm I’m curious when did everyone get their fixing invoice? We just got our lock up one last week. Now they sent us the fixing. Which I think they could have given it a better name. But there are stil fittings to be installed. Like downlighting, skirting is not compete, not all doors, not all cabinetry, no stone, no taps no toilets, no shower screen or taps or sinks. Which is all the fittings is that correct? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1039Nov 03, 2017 9:38 pm Doulton777 I’m curious when did everyone get their fixing invoice? Due to be paid Monday, we are meeting with our SS on site on Monday to check what’s completed by then but the invoice was definitely raised before completion of fixing stage requirements. Fixing is meant to be plaster complete, skirts and architraves, internal doors, cabinetry fixed, troughs sinks and basins fitted, garage complete excluding roller doors. Downlights, stone, taps, toilets, shower screens don’t have to be completed yet as far as I’m aware. Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1040Nov 03, 2017 9:43 pm It doesn’t have to be completed, just 75% of it.
