That is how it is in display. And that's how I will do mine.
Yeah that’s what I thought. Been trying to like it. But me and hubby can’t seem too. The ss already marked it. So hopefully they can fix it.

The curve is a feature of this particular house. I do not think that is even available in the Bordeaux 56a which although has a curved staircase the balcony/void is straight and not curved. And you want to emphasize the curve even with the plaster ceiling. Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1163Apr 17, 2018 6:20 pm stanus Just stick to your guns. How did they not see when we added square set cornices that it would turn out like that. Our ss agreed with him. The display design has cornices. I’m thinking maybe we shouldn’t have gotten square set? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1164Apr 18, 2018 12:11 pm I second sticking to your guns! We’ve finally got confirmation that all our issues are getting fixed. It’s taking so long for them to finish off our houses anyway... May as well go for exactly what you want! Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1165Apr 18, 2018 6:31 pm I’m surprised they are already working on the creaking of the stairs. We just wrote them the email on Friday. Saying it needs to be fixed for us to except hand over. We also got the private inspectors report back. It looks like there’s only 13 minor faults. Wooohooo for us. Inspector is impressed as well. He loves the whole house. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1166Apr 18, 2018 6:31 pm Bethany I second sticking to your guns!
