Browse Forums Building A New House New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 461May 26, 2017 2:00 pm Hubby asked bank manager how long it will take to get the final loan approval. He said 2-3 weeks . I this normal? Wondering if anyone waited this long? Our pre approval took only 1 week. But that was without a valuation on this house. Plus they have to value our land again plus the Metricon one. I guess there is more involved now. As well as going through contract and the 35 more variations we added. Last time the bank just went by my consultant estimation. For pre approval. Did anyone else wait that long? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 462May 26, 2017 2:25 pm Doulton777 Hubby asked bank manager how long it will take to get the final loan approval. I've been quite impressed with Westpac during our build.
