I just edited it off Building with Perry Homes: viewtopic.php?t=84756 Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 44May 21, 2017 10:35 pm It will be interesting if we can catch up to the 2 other builds (Perry - slabs already in), we were the second coral approved but we were first to break ground. The SS the perry's have isn't the one I had either so potentially. Depends how organized he is lol. Do you know when your slab is happening? I drove by yesterday - not sure how I've missed the porta loo every time I drive in Building with Perry Homes: viewtopic.php?t=84756 Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 46May 22, 2017 9:43 am It is a wandering loo, seen it in 3 spots so far. Slab will go down late next week, this week is purely getting the retaining wall in. Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 47May 28, 2017 8:20 pm Finished the retaining wall on Thursday. Couldn't get any great photos but here is a visual aid. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Be more to go in after handover to make things look prettier, cost around $1600 for 12m overall. Ended up covering it over in the hopes they don't damage or mark it. Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 48May 28, 2017 8:28 pm Great job with retaining wall how high did it have to be? Not looking forward to ours $1600 seems a great price but hard work for you guys Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 49May 28, 2017 8:41 pm Coral only wanted it to be 450 high, but that was only going to bring it up to pad height. So its technically 600 high, to bring it close to mid slab height to line up just below with first row of bricks by the time everything is turfed. Took 2.5 days worth of work and I would expect a quote in the $4k+ mark and probably wouldn't be as good. My hands with feel how much work went in for at least a few more weeks to come. But worth it, wont be much that will make that thing fall over, Corals plumber would have to try pretty hard to knock it down, didn't even slightly shift when it was backfilled and we expected it to move slightly. And I'm yet to figure out why it had to go in right after cut/fill especially with the plumber still having to lay pipes on both sides of it. Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 50May 28, 2017 9:00 pm Can't complain about $1600!!! Looks great. Ours was $7K and need another for the back on the right corner Building with Perry Homes: viewtopic.php?t=84756 Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 51May 28, 2017 9:01 pm D and B Coral only wanted it to be 450 high, but that was only going to bring it up to pad height. TIA Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 52May 28, 2017 9:09 pm Ridgi Sleepers and posts from Bunnings (Maitland). $30/sleeper, the 1200 & 1500 posts for 40-50 each. Sand/Gravel/Concrete/drainage from Saddingtons (Rutherford). Mixed the concrete the old way, wheel barrel and shovel easily 1/3 the price of rapid set Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 53May 28, 2017 9:11 pm D and B Ridgi Sleepers and posts from Bunnings (Maitland). $30/sleeper, the 1200 & 1500 posts for 40-50 each. Still waiting on the front fencing (have it down either side) and nothing else has happened.
