Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Electricity Pit 2Feb 12, 2017 9:26 am Hi, we sent our request for one to Ausnet around 10 days ago. I have heard nothing yet. From what I've read on here it can take up to 3 months and they can cost anything from $0 to $6,000. Sorry I know that's not much help, I am just playing the waiting game myself and of course hoping for the cheapest quote! Re: Electricity Pit 4Feb 12, 2017 9:36 am Yes that's something you have to do yourself and pay for. Just find out who the energy provider is for the area you're building and they usually have the application form online that you need to fill in. When you send it they will send you back a quote for the electrical pit and basically you have no choice other than to pay what they have quoted as they are the only ones who can provide it. Thanks for that, the PVC pipe is still about 40cm below ground level and it sticks out of the sand with no end cap or anything on it just open pipe, is this the finished… 2 9510 |
