How’s the house going?? All settled in?? Re: The epic home building race - HANDOVER FINALLY!!! 487Dec 06, 2017 1:58 am Sorry guys, been no major updates for a while! Thanks for checking in!! No internet, packing to go on holiday, and now a sick Tori!! Not a great combination. Not quite settled in, we are still in semi-unpacked mode. We haven't set up the TV room yet, nor my office, nor the guest bed. Lots of things still to do... but we will get there and will be happy to share. I agree about the "fun"... so many little things to get that we just didn't need before! Lots of little projects here and there like landscaping... to plan and do! Will be in flight mode for the next 48hrs as we make our journey across the pond tomorrow! Love the black kitchen cabinets btw. Have you started landscaping yet? Hope your all well Re: The epic home building race - HANDOVER FINALLY!!! 493Feb 03, 2018 7:44 pm Hey Tribe! We are happy. It feels like home.. and it is fun to keep putting our touches on it! If only we could put all the furnishing and landscaping costs on a loan. Haha no that would be a bit silly... Landscaping not started yet as no time to get it going yet. Also enjoying the inside too much. We drove by your block trying to see if there was any signs of life there the other week. Hope all is well you and your family! I’m trying to find monies trees as we speak I’ll hook you up if I find one, we can stick it to the banks then . It’s been far too hot for landscaping anyway, plus you have that Lovely ducted air to hang out in, have you got a idea or plan for what you want to do outside? Did you see Mr Tribes new baby down the bottom of our paddock? He brought a new trailer and loves it No movement yet but it won’t be long now. You will have to let me know when your coming through again. All good on our end Re: The epic home building race - HANDOVER FINALLY!!! 495Feb 15, 2018 10:39 pm Caught up on your thread only today! Congrats on the new bank being sorted out!! My gosh we have been busy! Yes, I was wondering which block it was, mostly hoping you guys actually had some bricks to work with. But then figured out it was probably the empty one... also saw one with a sold sign on it and wondered if that was really bad news! Landscaping... so true. Probably won't be starting much until it gets to the cooler months! We have got grand ideas, but nothing concrete yet! Wife wants raised garden beds and I want my firepit and sunken deck... Will look forward to following along with your thread! I will post some piccies of our home in time, once I manage to get around to taking photos rather than just enjoying being in it! Great looking floor plan you have and congrats on getting started. Thanks for your kind words too, I noticed you have managed to dabble in some red feature tiles if you can paint your front door a vibrant colour go for it. I'm trying to coax mr T into a sunshine yellow front door, he wants a timber framed glass centered door . We have actually moved out closer to you from our maudsland house, western side of the wyalong and gosh it's pretty. Huge trek to the shops though (they tell me I will get used to it) I'm really interested to see how it all goes with Dixon, they are our back up plan if Mr custom builder is too expensive. Best of luck with the pregnancy, it's always exciting to hear about families expanding. Hope your wife is feeling ok, can't be much fun for her Long time between posts for me. Been so so busy with work we left the house as is for the last 12 months. Been doing serious work over the last few weeks. If I remember correctly you did paint your site yellow? Did you still have a photo?
