Hi there
We found that the HIA (Housing industry association) building contract in WA does allow you to go to the Builders Tribunal if your building cost is over abuot $200k. Apparently you can go to the tribunal for workmanship issues, but if its a contract issue (like they want to put your price up) then it would seem your only course of action is a Lawyer.
I would be keen to hear if anyone can confirm this?
Thanks
