I wish they’d just tell you the colours of the display. Great to know we can choose other cladding too. Cheers! I ring the concierge desk at World of Style and they let me know the actual colours listed in their computer system for the displays. As long as you have a client code with PD they will pass on the info. This is super helpful - a great resource for next time. I did call but didn’t get very far (it’s all photoshopped etc etc and info on file for built houses was patchy). I think I’ll just have to ask when I go in. KDRB. The colours for the Madison 40 - New England Façade @ Rosenthal (Sunbury) are: Render: Bogart and double strength Bogart Cladding: Dulux Paving Stone Note: we were able to get the Dulux colour as it is on the display house. Not sure if you will have issues as it is not a standard colour. As for the cladding on the display this is not the standard inclusion profile - it is an upgrade. We had to request it at additional cost. Re: Porter Davis - Madison 40 366Jan 25, 2018 4:24 pm Hello, thank you - that’s very nice of you! I haven’t been to Sunbury so is this the colour scheme with dark roof? Thanks again KDRB. Building PD's Marbella 42 - demolition completed 31 May 2018. Re: Porter Davis - Madison 40 369Feb 13, 2018 12:05 am Hi everyone, Just checking in. Great to see your home updates gio ... Looks like you're all done or thereabouts! We are about to start. Moved out of our home last week and have stripped the house down. Asbestos removal this week, demo next week....hopefully. Our contract was done in Jan and came up to just over 600k. I feel like we over did it in a few areas...that price doesn't include color tech throughout, just the kitchen and galley! Also doesn't include carpet or flooring, which was a credit! Happy to share any info people are after. I wonder if we'll finish in 6 months as well. Doubt it though! PS: Anyone notice the $5k promotion for a 5.6kw solar and Tesla powerwall2? Left a message with our BC to see if we can jump on that action. It's about $19k retail for the same system! Suspect it is for new sales only Building a Madison 45 with Porter Davis Madison 45 Blog (Send me a PM with your email address to be added) Re: Porter Davis - Madison 40 370Feb 13, 2018 4:36 am Hey fademan Grest to hear from you. We're about to sign our final variation and be transferred to the on-site team. All going well site scrape will be in next 2 - 2.5 weeks. Our contact came to just over $500k. We are a new build with no color-tech. I would love a 6 month build but have very little optimism about that. My main goal is to be in for Christmas. All the best for your demo. Hope it goes well. It will cost a bit over $3,500 to inspect every stage. Re: Porter Davis - Madison 40 373Feb 13, 2018 9:17 am MikW Hey fademan Grest to hear from you. The 5.6kw is good enough and highly recommend it. My bro in law just got his installed for $21K. Am also thinking getting it later this year. Interesting about the battery life...the specs show 10 year warranty for the power wall 2, so they must be improving. If they die after that time, then you need to be saving over $1000 every year in power bills to make it worth it! Building a Kew 28 with Porter Davis Porter Davis - Madison 40 378Feb 14, 2018 6:35 am We got quotes from Darbecca and New Home Inspections. Fairly comparable. Some stages Darbecca was slightly more expensive for but cheaper if you bundle some of the stages, and for others NHI was more expensive Went with Darbecca due to reputation and have found them to be quite good Re: Porter Davis - Madison 40 379Feb 19, 2018 5:29 pm I'm off to a flier. Someone stole our water meter...that's right, our water meter, sometime on Friday. Need to lodge a police report to get a new one from south east water. Our mistake...the temporary fencing was behind it, not in front of it, but seriously, who does that!!! On the bright side, we have a tap connected to the mains directly because the demo and asbestos guys need it. So free water at our place! So free water at our place! that is just ridiculous, what on earth are they going to do with a water meter? Is it like winding back the odometer on a car? swap the meter every month to reduce your water bill? Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 13891 |
