You place will look ao different by the end of next week Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 162May 11, 2017 9:08 pm Frames that's awesome that you got to see them unloaded! Are they putting it up tomorrow?? Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 163May 11, 2017 10:57 pm Start tomorrow by the looks. We didn't watch the whole process as it takes 1.5 hours Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 165May 13, 2017 7:35 pm Woohooo nearly frame time GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 166May 14, 2017 3:36 pm I thought coral built their frames onsite? my folks have done several with them now and they did not have pre-fabricated frames for any of them. Also, is your Taylex HSTP concrete or plastic? my SC was not able to tell me what we'd get for the $10,000 allocated. thx Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 167May 14, 2017 3:48 pm Sounds like you need a new SC it's concrete. Pre fabricated frames Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 168May 14, 2017 4:06 pm dougang287 Sounds like you need a new SC it's concrete. Pre fabricated frames she's actually been very patient with me and offered some good advice. For my last visit i went in with several pages of bullet point questions and it took over 2 hours to go through them all, and i got a satisfactory answer/solution for over 90% of them.... it was mostly the customisation questions that couldn't be answered and i understood that, as it's off-spec. I know I was overwhelmed and exhausted by the time it was done, so for the moment i'll let it slide. Glad to hear you've got concrete HSTP, and i'll be sure to confirm that before signing. Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 169May 14, 2017 4:44 pm You should be able to ask as many questions as you like and if she doesn't know it's her job to find out. Where are you building? We looked at doing our own hstp but decided against it as we would have had to take over the whole plumbing of the house. Also we have a lot and I mean a lot of rock so glad we weren't involved in that Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 170May 14, 2017 6:13 pm We'll be setting up stumps on a 3/4 block in caboolture. Exact block is still being decided, as there are a few around (and a new 60+ block estate about to open - but we're leaning towards one of the smaller mini-estates). After our last build (a colossal mess to the very end) our budget expectations were considerably below actual cost, so this time around we want to get all that sorted well beforehand, and "try" to leave no stone un-turned. I expect issues and delays to occur, but have low expectations and my eyes wide open after last time. thankfully, we aren't in a hurry so will let it play its course. Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 171May 14, 2017 6:38 pm Woohoo for frames! We actually stumbled across your block yesterday. We were out there to look through the acreage display homes and were too early so decided to have a drive around the estate. I recognised your letter box lol. I love how you are so far back off the road! Hopefully you will be off the ground soon. Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 172May 14, 2017 6:53 pm Tamara1975 Woohoo for frames! We wanted to have an outdoor bath but us kiwis aren't brave enough with snakes etc around so our compromise was extending windows to sit on top of bath. How exciting Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 177May 15, 2017 8:43 pm OMG looks great! Love the view from your bath! Our bath has 2 windows right next to it. One looks at the neighbours and the other at the road! And the windows are not obscured lmao. We have to walk past a full-length window to get out of our shower so anyone walking past will get an eyeful if we don't get the blinds up straight away lol. I would love an outdoor bath but didn't think of it beforehand. We are planning on getting a spa pool though. If we can afford it lol Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 178May 15, 2017 8:47 pm Thanks! We want a pool when we can afford it, it would be boring if we could do everything all at once aye lol Re: Our Daydream in Mundoolun 179May 15, 2017 10:51 pm Your bath view is tops Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast Viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 of course there are legal avenues.
