We weren't charged any Post Contract Variation fee. Not even once. I guess that $500 fee is just to avert customers, changing their minds at the last minute. Having said that, technically they can so just depends on your CLE. Something to keep in mind, however, is that if you are getting a loan, the bank will only lend you the agreed % based on the contracted amount. All post contract variations would have to come out of pocket...if that makes sense.... Really? My banks except the variations as well. As it's still a legal binding document. But as long as it's put in together with your contract. I still haven't put my contract into the bank. As his waiting for the variations. M been taking a long time to get it all organised. We added over 34 variations. After contract. wow 34 I can imagine. Theone we did before the loan approval were included but the rest after loan approval are out of pocket. Having said that, builder has been really flexible with this. yeah M can be a bit slow we have been with them before but result if fabulous. Hopefully will be all sorted soon. Well considering they only gave us 1 day at studio for a nearly 67sq home. I don't think one day was enough at studio. Felt a bit rushed. Quiet of few of the things they got wrong to begin with. We did everything within the time frame before it went to contract. But the colour consultant was slow with getting things right. So now we are still waiting for it all. If you did it after loan then that would be why you would have to pay out of pocket. If it's just adding a variation to the contract. Then banks should cover it. How far with you Siteri, have they found tradies yet Re: Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 28Apr 14, 2017 10:13 am Nataly Once again our slab was due last wednesday has been moved again. Honestly this is really frustrating just just hope the whole process is not going to be like that:-x I'm not with CH but the Same thing happened in our estate. If I recall homes were delayed 2 months waiting on framers. The most annoying thing for customers were the scheduled deliveries they still made Seems to be an improvement now but houses are slowing up again because it looks like shortage of bricklayers now Re: Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 32Apr 14, 2017 12:19 pm Siteri Doulton777 Nataly Slab start delayed by 3weeks due to shortage of tradies, mmmmhhh Really wow never heard that one before. It sounds like they have taken too many jobs on at the same time. Usually after they do the slab. The frame goes up in no time after that. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 33Apr 14, 2017 12:51 pm Doulton777 Siteri Doulton777 [quote="Nataly"]Slab start delayed by 3weeks due to shortage of tradies, mmmmhhh Really wow never heard that one before. And they can't keep up. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 35Apr 24, 2017 8:09 am Love love love these colous! I really wanted hexagons but my Fiance said it was an absolute no so i guess the penny rounds was a good compromise Re: Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 36Apr 24, 2017 8:17 am Nataly Once again our slab was due last wednesday has been moved again. Honestly this is really frustrating just just hope the whole process is not going to be like that:-x When we were selling our house our next door neigbour was building with carlisle, they had their slab put down end of october, frame was delivered a few days later, however the frame was not started until Feb! carlisle are severly back logged at the moment from what I have heard, however there are a lot of builders in this position. Henley are not even pushing clients through from sales until their blocks are close to titling and in some cases have titled! Its a crazy time due to all the land being released in melbourne! The demand is very high and there just are not enough trades! Carlisle Homes - Claremont 35 37Apr 24, 2017 8:36 am stayxtrue Nataly Once again our slab was due last wednesday has been moved again. There's a shortage and therefor the ones that are there are charging double. I reckon too many houses getting built around Melbourne. I don't think theres enough tradies. I think builders are taking too many houses on. As they are building everywhere in Melbourne. Country doesn't exists anymore. Plus you would know what it's is working for you. If normal people were doing that in their jobs... well let's just say we wouldn't have a job! We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37150 Carlisle use to sneak a water resistant "Performance Solution" into their contracts.
