But yay you're slabbed Following along Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 42Jul 20, 2017 8:59 pm Thank you! I can't believe stuff is happening! A dream for so long and now it's happening. I've been panicking about colours. I chose them so long ago and the photos I took on the day weren't in great lighting and... argh! What if I don't like them? I sure I'm not the only one who worries about the colours they've chosen. Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 43Jul 20, 2017 9:42 pm You sound exactly like me!! I'm forever second guessing my selections Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 45Jul 21, 2017 8:02 am Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 46Jul 29, 2017 10:35 am Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 48Jul 29, 2017 12:21 pm Awwww. The wind is terrible. Out here in Ballarat I awoke to all the bins blown over and things scattered across the grass. But Thats nothing compared to being excited one day to being crushed the next with your house progress. Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 49Jul 29, 2017 12:44 pm icat2000 Awwww. Hopefully it won't delay things too much. I feel like the second little pig who tried to build his house with sticks. I have to laugh, otherwise I'd be on the floor in the foetal position. Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 51Jul 29, 2017 7:53 pm Silver lining is they only started framing so will only set you back a day or two. If it was framed and the roof trusses.... Interesting they have a sub board in the garage, what's the point of it if you have an external meter box? Re: Slabbed! - Our forever home in West Melb. 52Jul 30, 2017 12:51 am JB1 Silver lining is they only started framing so will only set you back a day or two. If it was framed and the roof trusses.... Interesting they have a sub board in the garage, what's the point of it if you have an external meter box? Very glad that it was only one day of frames. I spoke to my brother about the sub board - he's an electrician. My understanding is that all the fuses will be in the sub board and the mains switch and meter in the meter box. Apparently makes it easier to access the power of we do any electrical work down the track, like put in ducted cooling which we will do post handover. Can't believe it all blew down, but hopefully no more wind like that for a while. I know, right? And I can't believe they put it all back up and more so quickly. Just glad the windows weren't in when the wind came or we'd be finding glass in the yard for years!
