Hi everyone, I'm a long time reader of the forum but it's my first time making a post.
My partner and I recently put down our 10% deposit on a block of land that's 779m2 in Drouin.
We have our gallery on the 16th of this month so I've been scrolling the forum and Pinterest finding paint colour ideas and flooring inspo so we're not stuck there for 2 hours trying to make a decision on one thing, which is usually what I do because I'm quite indecisive
When we organised the house with Simonds we just made it in time to secure the 'It's on the house promotion' pack where we picked the $18K package that gave us $45K worth of upgrades.
We are building the Simonds Palisade with the following upgrade options:
- 450mm x 900mm wide pot drawers in the kitchen
- 2 x 300mm overhead cabinets beside the range hood
- 20mm Ceaserstone bench tops in the kitchen
- Clear glass splash back 3.5LM of 6mm clear glass
- Clark Monaco double bowl under mount scalloped sink
- 610mm x 410mm tiled shower niche
- Fusion upgrade option to ensuite as we wanted a bigger shower 1200mm x 900mm shower
- 900mm long base cupboard with Everhead bench line 4.5 litre stainless steel insert trough with an Alder Milano sink mixer with veggie spray
- 2000mm high x 600mm wide drawer tower unit to WIR
- Paradox security system with code pad, 3 sensors and 2 sirens
- Telstra Velocity smart estate package (estate guideline)
- Remote control unit to garage including 2 hand held remotes
- Capped gas point to alfresco area
- Builders range ceramic floor tiles 50m2
- Carpet Call carpet 75m2
- Lovelight Blockout roller blinds throughout entire home for 13 windows
- Fusion option for raised ceilings in the living area (red dotted section on floor plan below) and 2590mm ceiling height in the rest of the house to keep with engineering standards
- Declined free colourbond roof upgrade but received the Monier Traditional flat roof tiles upgrade for free
- Berkley facade
- BAL 12.5 bushfire construction requirements (estate guideline)
- R2.5 Gold high performance glass wool wall batts to external walls
- R7.0 glass wool batts to ceiling/roof
- Brickwork above front garage opening door
- Colourbond timber grain finish garage door
- 2040mm x 820mm wide flush panel cavity sliding door to Ensuite in lieu of standard opening
- Swapping window 10 (sliding door in family room) and window 13 (standard window in lounge)
- 2040mm x 820mm wide flush panel cavity sliding door to family room in lieu of standard opening (so we can turn this room into a theatre room)
Here is our floor plan and our standard plans, will post the real ones once we get them after the gallery appointment I'm assuming?

Thank for reading, hopefully we can meet some Gippsland people or even possible neighbours and I'll be posting my colour selections after the gallery
