I let it slide. Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 925Jul 21, 2017 6:32 pm They completed the roof tiles and the hot water solar panels today. They stuff up the location of where the panels where going to be placed. I had requested and was in the design to have th panels closer to the left room line to allow further solar panels to be installed. 🤦♂️ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 926Jul 21, 2017 7:35 pm Ren, inform the ss that it has been placed in the wrong area and will interfere with the solar electricity setup your planning for the future. I assume that is the northerly facing roof side. You could put solar hot water on any side really in Melbourne. After all in winter its the gas that will be heating the water and summer the sun will heat the water no matter which side the solar hot water panels are facing. Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 927Jul 21, 2017 9:29 pm Not sure how hard it will be for them to move it to the where the green mark is. It's West facing at the moment. I regretted not thinking of moving it to the North face so it would leave the whole West for the electricity solar panel. When I realize it they told me it couldn't because the roof trust was build with extra support to support the panel. I don't think this is true. I didn't see anything extra the other day. Here is how it was drawn on the design. Love it Renman Thanks Emmz It's only a 50sqm home, definitely not one of the larger ones on this forum. Progress has but up and down over the pass few weeks, when it does it's some quickly. Expecting the scaffolding to come down over the next week, wrapping to start, rough electrical to start after that. Can anyone shed some light in point 3, 6 and 7? How are you getting the roof pics? Is it with the drones? viewtopic.php?t=86597 My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 936Jul 26, 2017 11:45 pm No Doulton. Just use the ladder that they have onsite in the scaffolding to climb up. Have reached out to a member here that had a good drone to see if they can take a few pics for us. It's actually quite safe as the scaffolding covers the whole area of the ladder should you fall. Make sure you take heaps of pics of every single wals. Never know when you might need to know what's behind each wall. I regret not taking more pics. We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37084 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 18896 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13437 |
