Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2145Aug 17, 2020 11:26 am Hi, congrats on your amazing home, the facade & landscaping look amazing. Can I ask a question re: gate? My front is pretty much exactly the same as yours where the street is on a slight uphill left to right, and the house is elevated from the street. With the gate, I know it opens upwards on an angle to accommodate the sloping driveway, but when it's in the 'shut' position, is the gate sitting perpendicular (90 degrees) to the ground, and it only starts angling up as it opens? Or is it visibly angled towards the street even in the shut position, and op opening it just continues along that trajectory? Happened a few weeks after the in-filled was poured and settled. I think the foundation wasn't sufficient and insufficient reinforcement was built into the wall. Yes, aggie pipes was put in but its not draining all of the water to the storm pipes. Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2147Aug 17, 2020 3:08 pm ![]() Looks amazing mate! As it open it starts to lift as the hinge allows it to happen. That’s shocking and you paid a fortune for your landscaping. I don’t know how it would be so hard to fix cracks Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2150Aug 17, 2020 11:40 pm Bitumen paint just isn’t adequate. Have seen retaining walls where the texture coat blisters quite bad. Corflute sheets, membranes and/or waterproofing systems are what’s required. Unfortunately crack repair is not just smearing new render on. Render probably has to come off, cracks addressed/repaired or solutions found and then new texture applied corner to corner or the whole lot. Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2155Jul 26, 2021 1:42 pm Hi Renman, Thanks for sharing your journey. I am about to commence the journey too. Could I please ask which kitchen appliances you chose. It appears the choices we have are InAlto or Teka of which I have not heard of. Any advice in this space would be appreciated. Regards Geopet Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2157Jul 28, 2021 7:49 am We chose an InAlto 900 mm oven and a rangehood which were included as part of the M package deal that we started with. They are totally fine. I have not had an oven that heats so evenly on all parts of the tray before, and the gas cooktops are great. Thanks for the response Vetmusic. Can I ask what information you found about Teka and Inalto?
