With the inevitable removing of carpet and screwing the floor unto the joists. Actually I build with a small custom builder. So far so good no squeaking at all. Even with kids jumping on it. The extra thing they did was after lock up stage. They got someone to screw really long thin screws with a special tool on all the yellow tongue flooring. I think that prevent squeaking issue. However I'm unlucky since they put metal strap bracing underneath floor joists for 2 areas. 1 large strap has no issue but one small metal strap has metalic vibration sound. Very annoyed hence I'm interested in this topic to see how they fix 1st floor flooring issue in general. Generally between $500 to $700. Is the 39k and the 68k price for all the living and bed room areas? It can be cheaper to get M to do it but the quality and the finishing is not as good. In our case M couldn't do the solid French herringbone that we wanted. I am going from home that day and requested that the wty manager be there on that day. We have noises coming from about 10 different areas of the hallway and one of the kids bed room I feel your pain. Nothing as annoying as squeaky floors, it really cheapens the feel of the house. Is it the boards squeaking or is it something else? Have you seen my Instagram page? I have some videos of my floor sounds. Currently at NCAT over it. [/quote]No I haven't. What is your profile? Might be getting the carpet replaced again. Cos the rejoin still isn’t good enough. They may have to replace it in my bedroom this time. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2039Jun 09, 2019 6:48 am z M Y C U S T O M C O R A L B R O N T E 43 ...............Kitchen! 16 Nov 2016 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79581 Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 2040Jun 09, 2019 11:24 am Renman Is the 39k and the 68k price for all the living and bed room areas? I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13444 |
