I was told that one should be enough as most cordless phones just need one to be connected to the phone line... thx Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Hi QM I took the risk and only got just the one. By the time my two young kids is old enough to be chatting on the phone we will have VOIP and wireless phones for them . Invested heavily on data point and wireless access point to give me more that enough coverage. We presently don't have a ISDN phone connected in our house. Have been the case for the past 5 years. Have you invested in data point and wireless AP? Thanks Renman, we have put in some data points but probably not enough, especially if we want to run PoE security cams. We're a little confused as to whether our NBN/ADSL modem also has to connect to that same phone outlet in which case it should probably be in the garage where the Cat6 cables terminate but if my cordless has to connect to that same phone outlet/modem then I wouldn't want it to be in the garage as well Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Yeah it does. If your nbn box is in the garage that's where your modem & phone need to connect. [/quote] I didn't really take into account ADSL as technology platform that I'll consider using anymore. QM, PM me if you have any queries with your setup? I am interstate for work and will be too dark by the time I come back to see it. Excitement of the start has been over shadowed by my first variations. Additional temporary fencing ($690) and yet to be quoted. Removal of the broken crossover caused by the demolition. Re: My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb 580Jun 02, 2017 1:58 pm Awesome to see progress, will be exciting for the next 11 months mixed in with frustrations. My contract had 384 days for completion We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37139 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 19096 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13442 |
