It will fly by! Once we hit fixing stage I actually feel like it went really fast which is the opposite to others haha May be because we only saw the house once or twice a fortnight so was always something new to see. Loving all your updates Building the simonds palisade in gippsland Re: Building the Simonds Palisade in Gippsland 204Aug 04, 2017 7:10 pm Wow how exciting. Things have really progressed since I last read your thread. Love the tiles. Alpine Stone? We're having them in all the living areas. Now I'm wishing we'd used them in the bathrooms as well. They look great. Re: Building the Simonds Palisade in Gippsland 205Aug 04, 2017 7:14 pm Bri1234 Wow how exciting. Things have really progressed since I last read your thread. Love the tiles. Oh it will be beautiful in the bedroom Yep all moved in now, just have a few last boxes that seem to take firever to unpack haha Building the simonds palisade in gippsland Re: Building the Simonds Palisade in Gippsland 213Aug 26, 2017 11:43 am Our main bedroom backs on to a neighbour, we didn't want a big window there so opted for the high one and after seeing yours I'm loving our choice. Ahhh unpacking, good luck. We're in a rental now while we do our build but haven't unpacked much of our stuff. Really just essentials and things as we need them. Figure packing was a nightmare in the first place we want to make it easier when we move back. Will be interesting to see how much stuff we thought we needed to keep but don't use in the next year, lol Re: Building the Simonds Palisade in Gippsland 214Aug 26, 2017 1:42 pm Bri1234 Our main bedroom backs on to a neighbour, we didn't want a big window there so opted for the high one and after seeing yours I'm loving our choice. Figure packing was a nightmare in the first place we want to make it easier when we move back. Will be interesting to see how much stuff we thought we needed to keep but don't use in the next year, lol I spent about 2 months getting rid of all the stuff we didn't need, and it made a massive difference to the move. We were renting so moving was a common thing for us. The unpacking isn't too bad because it's an exciting new house but the packing is not fun at all!! Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
