Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 03, 2017 1:43 pm Hi just wondering if anyone has had issue's with builder's site deliveries stuffing up their block? They are building 2 blocks down and using our driveway to cut across to their build site to drop bricks etc off. They can't use the block in between drive way as they haven't got one. So they use ours to cut across and did it when wet and chopped up our block. How do I go about getting it fixed so our builder can start site works? I've often wondered what happens with this myself as you do see it quite a lot Land clearance etc 3Jan 03, 2017 6:02 pm They used ours for access because we are surrounded by a few properties. We didn't mind because we weren't starting yet. They scrape your land anyway so it didn't bother us. Once our fence went up they found other ways to get access but not through ours anymore, you just have to tolerate it a little longer until you start But do keep a note of any damages to the crossover because you could be liable. Re: Land clearance etc 4Jan 03, 2017 8:15 pm Don't stress too much. They used my land the same way, as well as dumping piles of soil and rubbish. I was very stressed about it, but my builder sorted it out and laid my slab without it ever coming up as an issue.
