Hopefully the quality will be good!
I had an on-site meeting with the MD of the building company today, he seemed to know his stuff which was good, as I had a few questions and he picked up some errors that he’s said will be fixed. The holes in the wall wrap will be taped up prior to bricks, there is a random stormwater pipe in the dining room that should be outside (lol!), the frame separating the pantry/linen cabinet hasn’t been put up, there are a few pipes in the wrong spot outside, and the shower base in the main bathroom is about 10cm away from where it should be. But he has advised it will be fixed, so I’ll keep an eye out for that.
The bricks still haven’t arrived but he advised the bricks need to be completed ASAP, as the house next door is about to start going up along side of my wall that’s on the boundary. So hopefully bricks aren’t too far away.
They were taking down the roof safety barrier things when I was there but I decided to wait til later in the week to take a pic as I couldn’t be bothered waiting around
MD advised he would expect lockup and plaster to be completed prior to Xmas, and house should be completed around Feb so that’s good to hear
