We went with a timber-look garage door. It matches the gables and front door. Looks amazing Re: First home, Coral Homes, Santorini 25mkII 172Jul 16, 2017 3:27 pm Lewis.14 with the outdoor living where the family and dining meet on that corner, is there a pillar there standard? we are planning on building the 25 but are unsure of this area Yes there is normally a pillar there, and as it's load bearing it cost almost 3k to remove. Totally worth it though in my opinion, opens the whole space up First home, Coral Homes, Santorini 25mkII 177Aug 20, 2017 2:05 pm charlibear Any updates? Yes! So many updates, I've been so slack posting on here! We are supposed to have PCI next Monday the 28th but there is still so much to do so I'm not sure if that date will stand. Handover approx 11th sept Kitchen is in. Painting has been done, however they painted white above the windows and doors outside and it's supposed to be monument. Tapware is in. Wardrobe doors are on. Bathroom tiles are done and grouted except for our niche, that's yet to be tiled. Not sure what the hold up there is. Main floor tiling has started but not finished. They were supposed to be finished on Friday so the electrician could start Monday but that didn't happen. So not quite sure how it's going to pan out on Monday, the electrician was already delayed on Wednesday because of the tiler. Kitchen splashback hasn't been done. Still to do: Tiles finished Electrical Garage door needs to be put on Water tank Inside door handles Carpet Shower screens and mirrors installed Drive way and front porch Flyscreens That's a lot to do in a week! Is all this supposed to be done before PCI? Sorry long post! We are around a week behind you and have an estimated handover date of the 20th Sep. Very exciting! Love your kitchen tap (we have the same but haven't seen one apart from in the catalogue at our colours appointment. There is still a lot to do at ours. Trying to get a plan of action from our SS but he hasn't responded yet. Re: First home, Coral Homes, Santorini 25mkII 180Aug 21, 2017 3:18 pm Tamara1975 It is looking fantastic!! Like you we were just shown a picture in a catalogue so it was nice to be able to see it in real life! You're getting close too! In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1756 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 11 40690 |
