Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 25, 2016 11:46 pm Hi guys, I am looking for advice/guidance/suggestions on selecting a builder for my first ever construction project. Budget $3,70,000 This is the first time we are building a property. We have a land in Development "Crest" by Mirvac at Gledswood hills 2557 . Lot size 807sqm with 20 frontage and going to register in Feb 2017. We are planning to build a single storey house with an attached granny flat. We have no experience in building. We are keen to learn from this first project. We understand that we will have to pay a premium for this but willing to take that hit to some extent. Having discussed with a few builders, following 3 are being considered give us roughly Estimate: Excluding landscaping, driveway, Fence. •Beechwood ( 3,50K) •Bellriver (3,40k) •Rawsons homes My experience with Beechwood sales office has been very good. However, I have read quite a bit of negative reviews about their delivery process. Does anybody here have any experience or information on them? Any suggestion/advise on these builders or about other builders will be great if somebody building or already build same type of project . Thanks... in advance Have a good day.
