Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 07, 2016 2:01 pm Hi guys Has anyone had luxury vinyl planks by Godfrey Hirst installed? I would like to see your photos and hear reviews. We are looking at "Orion Canvas". They refer to it as a hybrid product (Half laminate half vinyl essentially with extra cork backing to reduce noise). We really like the look of it but are scared of the term "vinyl". We're spending quite a bit on the house and don't want to skimp on the floors. The product installed would be $80/sqm so it's actually more expensive than a lot of laminates but we're just unsure as it's quite a new product and it's hard to imagine what it would look like laid. thanks! Re: Luxury Vinyl Planks - Godfrey Hirst 3Dec 07, 2016 4:35 pm I installed a 5mm Luxury Vinyl plank (not hybrid) in one property before. They are supposedly very durable and water resistant supply and install at $65persqm - with that price and type of product I would not call it skimping. Send from my phone.
