Speaking to volume builder about site costs, the sales person has told us that they do not build any more p class slabs, only h2 class. This doesn't sound right to me? Especially since I have separate soil test done my property is classed as p. Does h2 also mean structural engineering is required. Volume builder had quoted me 58k as rough estimate for site costs. I dislike how we have to pay hefty deposit, which is non refundable to get to tender stage. Where then, costs could change quite significantly! What have other people done about this in the past? my suspicion - some builders, they do usually make 'odd' settings in their site plan / pricing as their standards - being hopeful that first - the initial price is… 9 2478 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this.
