Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 18, 2016 1:02 pm We are thinking of buying a block at Googong and like some of the blocks on the edge of the estate overlooking the creek, however all these blocks are sloping; anything from 2 metres to 4 metres of slope. We've been told that site costs on a sloping block are about $20,000 for every metre of slope. Is this an accurate figure for this? If so, what exactly is included in site costs as it must be more than moving a bit of soil around to create a level pad for the house? Can anyone point me to where I can find detailed information on what is included in site costs? The details for this is available usually from your builder and if you go through a tender they should have a cost for you. Does that mean the slab is part of the site costs rather than the building cost? It really depends on your builder actually. Site cost is more like removal of dirt, trees, rocks etc. With Clarendon and Eden Brae Homes they do as part of the building cost in your tender. Hope this helps Kind Regards, Bruce "Building an Eden Brae Wardolf 50 in North Kellyville" Blog: http://waldorf50.blogspot.com.au Give Jonathan a call. Tell him you know me. He is in my opinion the best surveyor I have ever worked with. His number is 0425 285 622 All the best Simeon 3 12288 i did click it, still couldnt make it out rofl. in any case, doesnt look like too extreme a slope, you may be in luck. Just shoot out some emails to volume builders in… 3 18511 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 12981 |
