I can't tell you what our BAL is either but I think about 19.5... do you know your BAL rating? Will you be on tank? We added a 90,000L Rhino tank... Not as bad as yours but still it's $16k, I was like whoop there goes ducted aircon! I can't believe how big they have to be, ours is over 300sqm! Bigger then the house. Our bal came out at 29!! Although I don't want to have to pay for it all, most of it is all really good stuff for the house - gutter guards, extra installation, aluminium fly screens! We are lucky enough to score town water though!! So don't need any tanks - we probably will do a small one down the track but not for now! $$$ viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85653&p=1642230#p1642230 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 43Nov 24, 2016 10:22 am H Family Build charlibear Yeah we have a massive septic system, that cost us around $18,000 I think.. our house was bundled like a H&L package even though we bought the land seperate so not sure how it all works and no costs are broken down so I'm not entirely sure of the cost of things. Well over 300sqm Oh man, I'm kind of glad I don't know the individual pricing cause I'd probably have a mini heart attack at some things... I wanted a/c but yeah nah didn't fit in our budget after having the septic and a massive tank Oh I also wanted solar but hubby got the shed instead, not sure why he needed a shed... he is not handy at all and doesn't even own a hammer What external colour scheme are you thinking? We went with dark, probably regret that in summer haha Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 44Nov 24, 2016 10:28 am charlibear H Family Build charlibear Yeah we have a massive septic system, that cost us around $18,000 I think.. our house was bundled like a H&L package even though we bought the land seperate so not sure how it all works and no costs are broken down so I'm not entirely sure of the cost of things. I mean mine use to be a chippy so is handy and has all the tools still, but that's not what he wants it for he wants it as an extra man cave haha So we will get that, down the track.... I know it really sucks there are so many things that I could have included straight away but the cost of all this extra stuff has put a holt on it. I am really happy with what we are getting though. Aircons and stuff will just come later! We are thinking the same! I really just love the look of darker, I always seem more attracted to it. Especially against our green backdrops! Which brick did you go with? I am doing lots of searching around at the moment (we haven't had our colour appt) I do know that I like monument for roofing, looking last night and I saw a brick called pewter which looks nice! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85653&p=1642230#p1642230 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 45Nov 24, 2016 10:35 am Our builder didn't really offer that many dark bricks so we went with blue Rio, they were about $3000 to upgrade but we also upgrade to white mortar to make them pop. I am hoppppping we can find something we both like within corals standard range and just pay for an upgrade on the mortar, but honestly when does that ever happen? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85653&p=1642230#p1642230 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 47Nov 24, 2016 11:36 am H Family Build Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think these are my kitchen pendants! I know there are so many great pendants out there, and I love the idea of them but can't picture myself using them. These are the only ones that really tick all my boxes, glad I came across them!! I would love to see them in real life first but think I'll just have to take the online gamble! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85653&p=1642230#p1642230 I love them! Great choice and I think they will look great. We are looking towards glass pendants too and grey and white lol but yep Im the same choosing what for where is what Im worried about in case I get it wrong . Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 48Nov 24, 2016 11:46 am Wow HF Build and Charli Im so envious of both of your lots We look out at trees where we are now and I know Im going to miss that. Love your bricks too Charli and I spotted the Pewter and wrote them down in my book, but Im doubting they will be standard as nothing nice ever is lol. I hope your tile choices went well today Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 49Nov 24, 2016 7:43 pm Tiles done! We are super happy but also feeling a bit plain jane. I know it will be the look I imagined once all in though!! We ended up with Promenade Griege Matt from National Tiles in the 450x450's throughout the whole house, even up the bathroom walls ect Luckily the standard grey grout matched perfectly so no upgrade on any of that!! We went with the small hexagon in marble for both niches and then the herringbone marble for our splashback! Ended up spending $1700 above standard but I didn't think that was too bad!!
