Was it much cheaper to do it yourself?? I know nothing about septics! When we relocated the tank (as well as the irrigation) they charged us another $550 for an additional riser ring!! Do we have to get these maintenance every 3 mths or annually do you know? I thought it would be straight forward, but just have to get through the red tape and it will be fine. The system we chose was more expensive but you can use most household cleaners and bleach. Strange how there is usually a cost involved with changes lol and ours has to be serviced every 3 months. The HSTP company helped with that. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 218May 07, 2017 11:18 am klea Did the laminate finish on the overhead cupboards cost much to upgrade? (I'm assuming timber look laminate wasn't in the standard range?) I'm looking at doing the same for my overhead cupboards but I know they will cost a little more... So sorry for my slow reply - I've cracked my whole phone screen to the extreme and struggling to use it I think from memory it was about $500 or so but I'll check it out and let you know!! Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 219May 07, 2017 11:23 am em-n-craig Ok to cut a long story long: The irrigation areas were in the middle of the block behind the house and basically took up a lot of space - something we didn't even consider during admin stage as were concentrating on the house. We had them moved at install to the left hand side of the block as I checked with council and was told we could apply for retrospective planning permission, all we needed to do is submit a modified layout plan - sounds easy right? Taylex were originally going to install a system through Coral, but we decided to go owner supply, so called the company that did the HSTP design and have been told that we need to gain permission from Taylex to change the layout as Taylex paid the design company......will be calling Taylex tomorrow. Oh it's all such a hassle isn't it - I have been talking to taylex nearly daily haha Our issue is we wanted to level the land that it is been installed on - finally got taylex on board (after about 4weeks discussing and us measuring and everything) Talked to council and half of our area is in a "water corridor" and that application takes 12weeks - its booked in to be done by taylex on the 22nd may! Eeek Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 30 Brisbane West 220May 07, 2017 11:58 am What's everyone's thoughts on our tiles? What would you do? Love our splash back - didn't realise it was going on that extra wall at the end and didn't love it at first but when I went there it's actually quite nice and planning to make it a cute little corner with cookbook etc Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Now the problem ****** within our wet areas - we hate the lightness of the grout - I know we chose it but it looked a lot darker in sample and we will be doing something to get it fixed no matter what. But the tiles seem to have such uneven gaps!!! We feel like spacers weren't used at all.
