I am buying a house and land package and I was told to sign the construction contract first. Thanks If your buying a home and land package the building contract price will have already taken that into account e.g. cut and fill, etc and you won't need to worry about the land sloping and if your going to have to pay more money outside of the building contract. Should the contract specifically specify about what I am being charged for flattening the sloped land? Only to say that all site costs are included because at the end of the day the builder takes the risk and if they have to do more work than necessary then they will have to cop the extra charges. This might include the removal of trees, rocks etc. Hope the information helps.
