Thanks Dulie! Yeah I really like the Sharknose detail in place of handles. It's only available on the 2 pack from memory. Firejack - could I ask a favour... can you open the bottom draws and tell me if there is a tiny metal L bar on the inside of the draw at the centre? For some reason they've installed all the little bars on the inside of my draws rather than on the underside of the draw which seems wrong to me. Also can you photograph how many screws they put in underneath? The railings have holes for a number of screws but it seems the cabinet maker on mine has put in a bare minimum of two on either side. The draws are supposed to hold 30 kg so I was hoping for more than just 2 little screws either side. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid having had ikea stuff for so long! lol Cheers Nom Newhaven 36 by M Blog - North Shore Newhaven (http://nsnewhaven.blogspot.com.au) Build - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85092 Re: Metricon Savannah 34 - Kitchen & Pantry Cabinetry Is In. 168Jun 27, 2017 9:33 pm emmyawards Ahh thanks. We needed the smallest, most unobtrusive handle available. Re: Metricon Savannah 34 - Kitchen & Pantry Cabinetry Is In. 170Jun 27, 2017 9:58 pm nomnomnom Looking great! We got sharknosing too. I've got them through my kitchen, the only cat 9 upgrade I got in my whole home and cost $1k just for handles, it's a sleek look though! Interestingly that's exactly the same as what they've done at mine. I guess that's the way they do it. Still seems odd the L bracket is internal on the bottom draws since I would have thought the bracket needs to support the draw from underneath. Only reason I can see why it's inside is if it catches on the bottom. Surely it's only going to make the drawer stronger by adding a couple more screws. Re: Metricon Savannah 34 - Kitchen & Pantry Cabinetry Is In. 179Jun 30, 2017 8:16 pm So there's been some more progress on the house. First up, the laundry and bathrooms have cabinetry installed.
