Hi Mike, I definitely haven't found this with our freestanding bath, sounds like there maybe something in the pipes.

hi darkmi, is your freestanding bath hard plumbed to the drainage pipe? Or do you have a catchment box flush in the floor? It sounds like there must be a restriction somewhere that's slowing down the drainage...?
