Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 29, 2016 7:17 am Our block of land at Allerton Park has finally settled and now we just need to finalise the house design, we love the Noosa 25MK11 as it fits on our block and will allow enough room for a small pool to go in the backyard. 12/3/2016 - deposit paid on the land 24/10/2016 - settlement on land happened Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes Noosa 25MK11 at Allerton Park 5Oct 29, 2016 9:31 am Nice plan! Re: Coral Homes Noosa 25MK11 at Allerton Park 12Oct 29, 2016 5:48 pm Hi! We are also building a Noosa! Our Noosa 26 plans are with council, hoping to get something on our block this year! Its a great plan and would be fab if you could fit that pool in too. Haven't made any structural changes to plan as we were pretty happy with the layout but want to add quite a few extras - waterfall bench, 40mm caesarstone, laundry cabinets above and below, turning the pantry into a butlers pantry minus the sink. How did you go with colour and electrical appointment, was it quite expensive? Re: Coral Homes Noosa 25MK11 at Allerton Park 19Oct 30, 2016 6:52 pm Pics are on my computer so i will see how i go attaching them. We put in a $2k colour allowance and a $3k electrical allowance into our contract and we went over about $800 for electrical and about $1700 over in colour. We didnt have a huge budget for upgrades but feel like we got the things we really wanted eg. Silk finish in kitchen, changed the sink, owners supplied downlights and fans throughout. We were pretty happy with most of the standard options. Your butlers pantry change sounds great, look forward to seeing it. Did you make it bigger or just change the shelving? That sounds like a great spend on the colour and electrical!!! We have left the pantry the same size but will just put cupboards and a bench top in there, hopefully it won't be to enclosed........ Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1766 |
