I just found out that we can't actually get the magnolia teddy bear due to supply issues BUT it's actually a good thing because we're getting a beautiful magnolia little gem as our main tree I'm thinking of the frangipanis instead (the shrub version, not the big tree version) Have you made any plans for landscaping? I'm so in love with it! We are planning on building a retained garden bed to connect onto our mailbox & haven't decided 100% what we want in it! But probably the magnolia & some other stuff! We used Lilly pilly baby boomer on the garage side of our house for a little hedge between us and our neighbours and cause there was a but drop off the retainer wall. We also have a retained garden bed on the other side of our house which is 900x 27m so wanting something amazing to go along here as well! Maybe something high & ground cover too so it's pretty to look out the windows Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Newlyweds First Home - Hallmark Homes Coomera QLD 318Jan 26, 2017 9:30 am goldcoasthome Our garage door was installed today! My estate required a minimum of 1.8 to be planted so i put in a kay parris magnolia instead. It will grow 3 or 4 metres. For my front garden I have lilly pillies facing the front and facing one neighbour. I also have hibiscus and something rlse, i cant remember what facing the font. In front of my home office window that faces the street, i have azaleas. Down the other side of my neighbour along the driveway, i have gardenia radicans. And in front of my 2 brick pillars, i have cordyline pink diamonds. I have zero knowledge about gardening too lol. I have learnt a little bit by joining a gardening group on facebook who are very helpful. One thing i know is to always keep seasol handy as it is a great product!
