You've got a lot of light colours in your design as well, I think it looks great! Up till this day hubby has got a tiny regret we didn't choose timber garage door Metricon Metro 32 Qld 32Jan 22, 2017 6:37 am Thanks guys, Still not 100% sold on the timber garage door as it's a lot more red tone than we like. But came as a standard inclusion so thought we'd just take it and paint over it if we really don't like it...but I'm sure it will look nice when it all comes together. We also added a video intercom as the front door is a pivot door with translucent glass. We went with clear glass on the front door ...we'll see how that goes Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85381#p1630392 Re: Metricon Metro 32 Qld 38Jan 27, 2017 2:17 pm Vantage_35 Mec06 Our electrical came in at a pretty similar price, we've also gone with the integrated sound system in our theatre. Yeah o wanted clear glass, I think it looks better but Hubby & our tender presenter talked me round to the translucent for privacy.. sigh.h Re: Metricon Metro 32 Qld 39Jan 30, 2017 2:51 pm Mec06 Yep, it was tricky keeping it to budget but I agree, worth the extra to get it right now. Yeah o wanted clear glass, I think it looks better but Hubby & our tender presenter talked me round to the translucent for privacy.. sigh.h We decided on the Desert Sand pattern for the glass on the front door and sidelight. That added $800 to the bill, so i removed that from the list. Bought a roll of translucent glass sticker off eBay and will give that a go after handover. I would have stripped ours out of it had been $800 as well, haha. I think clear glass looks good, but we are applying for a relaxation to front boundary soooo.. the translucent seems like the best approach.. if I had gotten the roll to stick on afterwards I'm pretty sure I would messed it up ??? Keen to hear from people in the area who have got KDRB done on whom they got the build from? Looking for recommendations. Thanks 0 21099 Hi all.
