They had so many errors on our final plans and they just took ages to correct it. They finally sent plans to me late yesterday and no mistakes this time! Hopefully will get a call from Construction Admin this week, otherwise will happen after the Easter break. Looking forward to starting! :-D:-D Went and checked out the block over the week-end and its been turned into a bit of a dump site (not really worried about some blocks of mess, more the huge mound of excess soil!!!) Hubby got the Contact numbers for the builders on either side and is going to ask them to clean up their mess... We were also disappointed to see that a truck had taken out part of our little tree on the nature strip. Ah, I guess these things were bound to happen, but annoying nonetheless. I mentioned the mess on the block and she told our SS who has already done a drive by of our block and spoken to the other builders to clean up thier mess, so I'm pleased about that - she called me again today to let me know Our Trinity Lux Q1 with Plantation Homes: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85254&view=undread#unread Insta: @newhomedream Re: Trinity Lux Q1 - Plantation Homes QLD 65Apr 12, 2017 11:52 pm Well done, it's going to start really soon then. I've had a good read through your thread and you have made some lovely selections. The R5 insulation batts to the ceiling will be awesome. Beautiful stone to the kitchen too. So pleased you decided to keep it, some thing you just have to have Wow to all the pendants too, I'm swimming in lighting choices right now . I love the trinity display at Gainsborough greens I can't wait to see yours come to life. Re: Trinity Lux Q1 - Plantation Homes QLD 70May 03, 2017 12:15 pm We've had our site cut! No slab yet.. or pipes. We are resisting temptation to check daily and will go have a look on the weekend to see if there has been any movement, this was our nighttime drive by site cut photo . We are yet to speak to our SS over the phone, we've been told he's not a great communicator but apparently is meant to be awesome at getting the job done - here's hoping that's true! My dad and his boss work for Plantation occasionally and have heard good things about SS as well so that's encouraging. SS advised in text that he's going to see what can do about booking Dad and boss man as the brickies for our house. Apologies for yet another terrible night time photo! I love the trinity display at Gainsborough greens I can't wait to see yours come to life. Thank you Tribe! I haven't visited the Gainsborough greens display, just the one at rochedale but I've been thinking of going to have a look. It took us AGES to decide on lighting and it felt good to finally decide. We've purchased all of them now except our fans and 1 outdoor light. Have you seen beacons new catalogue? So many gorgeous new pieces!! The extra insulation decision was made after ready the recommended insulation on the qld Gov energy efficiency sight that suggested a min of 4.5 batts for Brisbane, figured it couldn't hurt! Went back recently checking 'as display master lol' Was worried about natural light in kitchen living dining but so far so good We are hoping to have our slab poured tomorrow (weather pending!!). We have Steve as our SS, he seems pretty on top of it, hopefully this continues. That's good to hear about natural light for kitchen and dining, it was something I was a little concerned about as well.. We've organised K-spec for independent inspections and they've tentatively booked us in for Tuesday pending slab on Sat.
